Clarity is recruiting for a  Experience Dispenser for an independent pharmacy based in Bristol

What you need to know:

This is a permanent full time role.  40 hours a week,  Mondays through Fridays with the 1 or 2 Saturday mornings per month. No late nights past 7pm. Great team in place to help you! 
Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK and will not require visa sponsorship.

What you'll be doing:

• Prepare and dispense prescription medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Ensure accurate labelling and packaging of medications.
• Verify prescription information for completeness and accuracy..
• Receive and process prescription orders
• Maintain and update patient profiles with relevant information.
• Monitor and manage pharmacy inventory.
• Order and restock medications and supplies as needed.
• Check expiration dates and handle the disposal of expired or damaged medications.
• Complete and maintain accurate records of prescription transactions.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organised work environment.
• Adhere to pharmacy laws, regulations, and safety standards.
• Follow established policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards.

What we require:

• NVQ level 2 or Level 3 dispensing qualification.
• 2+ years experience as a Dispenser in the UK
• Knowledge of pharmacy terminology, medications, and dosage forms.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing medications.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Familiarity with pharmacy software and computer systems, ProScript Connect system.
