Clarity is recruiting a Pharmacy Technician to work for an independent pharmacy in Co. Cork (approx. 25 minutes by car from Cork City!)

What you need to know:
This is a permanent position, which offers a flexible rota (full- or part-time hours!). Mainly Monday to Friday with ONLY 1 Saturday per month on rotation with other staff. No Sundays or late nights past 6pm are required. You will work alongside experienced support team including 2 pharmacists, another technician (working full-time) and an OTC. MPS is the dispensing system used.

What you'll be doing:

• Assisting in the dispensary
• Answering phone calls, responding to inquiries or requests
• Preparing and dispensing prescriptions to patients 
• Managing and monitoring the prescribed dosages
• Taking care of paperwork and monthly claims (if needed)
• Providing excellent customer service
• Any other duties as required

What we require:  

• Higher certificate in Pharmacy Technician studies (IPU course) or dispensing experience in an Irish pharmacy
• Previous experience dealing with blister packs and nursing homes (it will be part of your responsibilities together with the pharmacist)
