Support Pharmacist - Co. Laois

Clarity is recruiting a Support Pharmacist for an independent pharmacy in Co. Laois, conveniently located 24 km from Portlaoise and just 7 km from Athy, Co. Kildare.

What you need to know:
This is a permanent, part-time position working 2–3 days per week. Availability to work Saturdays is essential, with 3 days per week being ideal. There are no Sundays, Bank Holidays, or late nights. You'll be joining a dynamic and supportive team committed to delivering excellent patient care. The pharmacy uses the MPS dispensing system. Start date: September.

What you will be doing:

• Provide a safe and efficient dispensing service in line with PSI guidelines and best practice.
• Ensure the safe supply of medicines while offering professional advice and counselling to patients.
• Deliver excellent customer care and build strong relationships with patients.
• Work collaboratively with the pharmacy team to support the day-to-day running of the dispensary.
• Maintain accurate records and comply with all relevant pharmacy legislation and procedures.
• Carry out any other duties as required.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work on your own initiative
• Good communication skills

What we require:

• Registration with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland
• Experience in a busy Irish pharmacy.

Salary is negotiable and based on experience.
