Duties 

• Providing high-quality nursing care to patients requiring palliative care
• Supporting patients with complex and end-of-life care needs
• Pain and symptom management
• Medication administration and management
• Nursing assessments and updating care plans
• Working closely with families and the multidisciplinary team
• Maintaining accurate nursing documentation
• Promoting dignity, comfort and quality of life for patients

Requirements 

• Bachelor’s Degree in General Nursing, and Active Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland
• Minimum 6 months post-registration nursing experience
• Previous palliative care experience is essential
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Eligible to work in Ireland
• Registered with Clarity Locums (or willing to register)
