Support Pharmacist - Co. Galway

Clarity is recruiting a Support Pharmacist across two pharmacy locations in County Galway.

What you need to know:
This position offers a three- to four-day working week, ideally four days, with up to 38 hours per week. The role includes working every second Saturday. There are no Bank Holidays or Sundays required. The pharmacies use the MPS dispensing system.

Responsibilities include: 

• Provide a safe and efficient dispensing service.
• Offer patients professional advice and counselling on medicines.
• Ensure compliance with PSI standards and pharmacy procedures.
• Support stock management and the smooth running of the dispensary.
• Work with the pharmacy team to deliver excellent patient care.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with patients. 

What we are looking for:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong clinical judgement and a patient-focused approach.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous community pharmacy experience preferred, ideally 1–2 years.

What we require:

• Current registration with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI).
• Flexibility to work across two locations and every second Saturday.
