Home Health Nurse - South West Dublin

Clarity are currently recruiting for agency General Nurses to be part of the Public Health Nursing team as community nurses HSE in Dublin South West 
The areas covered include - Ballyboden, East and West Tallaght.

About the role
  • The agency nurse appointed to this post will work within Primary Care in the PHN service as a community nurse
  • The work base will be the Primary Care Centre. Care is delivered in the client’s home and also in the clinic setting-Travel around South Dublin necessary for this post. Staff are eligible to claim travel allowance for work related travel. 
  • The service is provided Mon to Friday, 9- 5. Hours can be negotiated and part-time available
  • Onsite training and orientation provided for the agency nurse by HSE staff
  • Excellent upskilling educational opportunities

Requirements
  • Access to own transport is required for this post. 
  • Work authorisation is mandatory 
  • NMBI registration as an RGN
  • Community nursing experience preferable 
  • Acute experience working as a general nurse 
  • Excellent wound care experience
Responsibilities: 
 
  • Nurse-led wound care management – both in clinic and in the domiciliary setting
  • Diabetes management
  • Incontinence assessment and management
  • Nursing assessment post hospital discharge/GP referral
  • General nursing care for the chronically ill or disabled
  • Oncology support and end of life care
  • Nursing assessment for home supports
