Clarity is recruiting a Supervising Pharmacist for a busy, independent community pharmacy in Castlerea, Co. Roscommon.
What you need to know:
This full-time, permanent role comes with no late nights past 7pm, no Sundays and no Bank Holidays, with Saturdays generally worked on an alternating basis. The pharmacy is well staffed, with 2–3 pharmacists typically on site each day, alongside a genuinely supportive team of pharmacists and technicians. Two dispensing robots are already in operation, helping to streamline the dispensing process and ease day-to-day workload, with full training provided on the systems in place.
An attractive, negotiable salary is on offer, with the pharmacy keen to find the right rate for the right person.

What you'll be doing:
- Hold full professional and legal responsibility for the safe, efficient running of the pharmacy, with genuine autonomy to lead operations your way
- Oversee the safe and effective delivery of medicines, drawing on your clinical judgement to guide the wider dispensing process
- Build strong relationships with customers, setting the tone for a service that encourages loyalty and confidence
- Take the lead on stock management, ensuring correct storage, rotation and monitoring of dated products across the pharmacy
- Manage and support the dispensary team, with real ownership over day-to-day operations and decision-making
- Ensure full compliance with PSI regulations and pharmacy legislation at all times
- Any other duties as required, with scope to shape the role around your own leadership style
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership and decision-making ability
- Ability to work confidently on your own initiative
- Registration with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland
- At least 3 years of previous experience.
